Microsoft Kills Blue Screen

Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

Microsoft is replacing the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with a black screen in Windows 11.

This change aims to improve the operating system's resilience, following the CrowdStrike incident.

The new design features a simplified message: "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart."

The updated interface will roll out this summer to Windows 11 version 24H2 devices.
