Microsoft Resolves AutoCAD 2022 Compatibility Issue, Unblocking Windows 11 24H2 Update for All Users

Microsoft has lifted the compatibility block on the Windows 11 24H2 update for AutoCAD 2022 users.

  • The initial block was due to launch failures and crashes with AutoCAD 2022.

  • Autodesk released AutoCAD 2022.1.4 S182.0.0 update to fix the issue.

  • Users can now update to Windows 11 24H2 after installing the AutoCAD update.

  • The safeguard hold (ID: 56211213) has been removed.

  • It may take up to 48 hours for the Windows 11 update to appear after updating AutoCAD.

With the resolution, virtually all users can now update to Windows 11 24H2, as version 23H2 will be deprecated in November.
