MG, the Sino-British car manufacturer, is set to make a significant return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2025, alongside brands like Aston Martin and Ferrari.
The event will showcase several innovative electric models, reinforcing MG's presence in Europe.
The Cyberster Black, an electric convertible, will be a highlight, combining futuristic design with impressive performance. The Cyber X, a compact electric SUV inspired by the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, will also be presented.
The IM6, a high-end electric SUV, is planned for the European market, with sales expected in late 2025 or early 2026. It will feature a 100 kWh battery, offering an estimated range of 655 km (WLTP).
The IM L6, a luxury electric sedan, will also be launched in Europe, sharing a platform with the IM6 but with enhanced aerodynamics for increased range. Its commercialization is also slated for late 2025 or early 2026.
SAIC, MG's parent company, faces significant tariffs in Europe, which has led MG to consider targeting specific European countries like the UK, Switzerland, and Norway, where tariffs on Chinese EV imports are lower.
