Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

Mazda has unveiled the EZ-60, an all-electric crossover, at the Beijing Auto Show on April 23rd. This new model, produced in China in partnership with Changan, hints at a possible future electric vehicle for the European market, potentially badged as the Mazda CX-6e. The EZ-60 showcases a streamlined design with a long hood and elevated beltline, echoing the aesthetics of the Arata concept car. While interior details are currently under wraps, the vehicle's dimensions, approximately 4.7 meters in length, suggest it will compete with models like the Tesla Model Y. Based on the Changan Deepal S07 platform, the EZ-60 offers both fully electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The electric versions boast power outputs ranging from 218 to 258 hp and a range of 520-628 km. The plug-in hybrid options deliver 238-258 hp with an electric range of 215-285 km. It is anticipated that the European Mazda CX-6e will be offered exclusively as an electric vehicle.
