BYD Seagull: Ultra-Affordable EV Could Launch in Europe as Dolphin Surf

BYD's Seagull, a compact EV, is now priced under €7,000 in China after recent price cuts. Measuring 3.78 meters, it's shorter than a VW ID.3. It features battery options from 30.1 kWh to 38.9 kWh, offering a range of 305 to 405 kilometers (CLTC). There are expectations that it will be offered in Europe and Germany under the name Dolphin Surf. BYD offers a Tesla Model 3 alternative and a new fast-charging system.
