BYD to Launch Dolphin Surf EV in Europe, Positioning Between Dacia Spring and Fiat Grande Panda

BYD plans to introduce the Dolphin Surf, a compact electric vehicle, to the European market. This model, already known as Seagull in China and Dolphin Mini in Mexico, is expected to be priced around €20,000, positioning it between the Dacia Spring (€16,900) and models like the Fiat Grande Panda (€25,000) and Citroën ë-C3 (€23,300). BYD's Dolphin Surf will feature Blade battery technology, offering a range of 427 kilometers and DC fast-charging capabilities, charging from 30% to 80% in 29 minutes. It will be available with 30-kWh or 38-kWh batteries and 55 kW (75 hp) or 75 kW (102 hp) motors.
