Volkswagen is set to revamp its T-Roc compact SUV with a new generation model in 2025. The redesigned T-Roc will feature hybrid powertrain options, marking a shift away from diesel engines.
The new T-Roc will include both mild-hybrid and full-hybrid engine options.
A 1.5 mild-hybrid engine will be available at launch, with the full-hybrid version expected to follow about a year later.
The T-Roc utilizes the MQB platform, shared with models like the Golf and Skoda Octavia, which will also receive new hybrid powertrains.
Volkswagen plans to introduce 9 new electric models by 2027, including a crossover version of the ID.2 and the ID.1.
