Renault Trucks E-Tech T to Launch with 600 km Range in 2025, Enhancing Sustainable Long-Haul Transport

Renault Trucks will begin taking orders for an extended version of its E-Tech T model in the second semester of 2025. This new electric truck boasts a range of 600 km on a single charge, aimed at decarbonizing long-haul transport.

The enhanced range is achieved through the integration of an electric axle, which consolidates the powertrain components, allowing for additional battery packs. This innovation positions Renault Trucks to significantly contribute to the transition to electric mobility.

Emmanuel Duperray, Senior Vice President Electromobility at Renault Trucks, emphasized that the new model, alongside the development of public charging infrastructure, aims to achieve operational parity with diesel technology. The company plans to maintain a diverse range of electric solutions tailored to various transport needs.

Renault Trucks also encourages customers to optimize battery size based on actual requirements, thereby reducing costs and environmental impact. The production of the new E-Tech T will take place at the Bourg-en-Bresse plant, which has been assembling high-end electric models since late 2023.
