France Launches "Dare AI" Plan with €10 Billion Investment to Boost AI Adoption

Edited by: Veronika Radoslavskaya

The French government launched the "Dare AI" national plan on July 1, 2025, aiming to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across all French businesses.

Bpifrance, the public investment bank, will invest €10 billion by 2029 to support the AI ecosystem's development and facilitate AI integration by French companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies.

Key initiatives include co-financing approximately 5,000 AI diagnostics to help companies assess and integrate AI, a bank guarantee fund for significant AI projects, and an 18-month acceleration program for 100 high-potential companies.

This plan aligns with France's broader goal of becoming a global leader in AI, following President Emmanuel Macron's announcements at the AI Action Summit in February 2025, which included measures to strengthen AI training and increase funding.
