Foxconn and Nvidia to Deploy Humanoid Robots in Houston AI Server Plant

Edited by: Veronika Radoslavskaya

Houston, USA - Foxconn and Nvidia are collaborating to deploy humanoid robots in a new Houston plant.

The plant will focus on producing next-generation AI servers. This marks the first time Nvidia products will be manufactured with humanoid robot assistance.

The implementation of robots is expected to be completed in the coming months, with operations potentially starting in the first quarter of next year. Foxconn is developing its own humanoid robot models and has experimented with models from the Chinese company UBTech. Foxconn has been training these robots for tasks like object placement and assembly.

Foxconn plans to showcase two robot versions at its annual tech event in November: one bipedal and one using an autonomous mobile base. This collaboration reflects the growing interest in humanoid robotics and its potential to transform AI server manufacturing.
