TikTok has launched 'AI Alive,' a new AI-powered tool that transforms photos into videos. The feature, announced on May 13, allows users to create short, engaging videos from static images using intelligent editing tools. Users can access 'AI Alive' through the Story Camera feature on the platform. By selecting a photo and entering a few prompts, the tool can animate elements like skies, clouds, or even create animated selfies. The company states that moderation technology reviews the uploaded photo, written prompts, and the AI-generated video before it is shown to the creator. Each video will also be labeled as 'AI generated'.
