Google has announced the second edition of its 'Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps' program in India, aimed at empowering 20 AI-focused mobile app startups. Supported by Google Play, this three-month initiative provides AI tools, mentorship, and guidance to help startups scale their products. Startups funded between Seed and Series-A stages with an app on the Google Play Store are eligible to apply. The selected startups will receive personalized mentorship, collaborative learning opportunities, and access to Google's AI advancements. The program commences in July with an immersive bootcamp. Applications are open until May 15, 2025. Paula Wang, Managing Director, APAC Partnerships, Google Play, highlighted the program's goal to equip startups with AI, business, and commercial toolkits for scalable deployment and growth. Google also collaborates with MeitY Startup Hub to broaden the program's reach and impact within the Indian startup ecosystem.
