Microsoft Unveils AI Solutions for Energy Sector at ADIPEC 2024

Microsoft showcased its latest Data and AI solutions at ADIPEC 2024, aimed at empowering energy companies in their quest for a net-zero future. The exhibition features new Dynamics 365 solutions for frontline productivity and sustainability tools to track and reduce environmental impact.

Naim Yazbeck, general manager of Microsoft UAE, highlighted the company's commitment to aiding the energy sector's transition towards sustainability. He stated that their Data and AI solutions enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.

This year, Microsoft is the official AI Partner at the inaugural AI Pavilion, where it presents an AI-driven Carbon Capture and Sequestration platform to curb emissions in hard-to-abate sectors. Collaborations with Accenture and Avanade showcase methane emissions monitoring solutions.

Microsoft is also demonstrating RealWear technology integrated with Azure OpenAI Service to improve safety for frontline workers and showcasing an autonomous robotic dog for site inspections.

In a meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Microsoft discussed strategic partnerships in AI, energy, and climate sectors. The collaboration with ADNOC and Masdar aims to leverage AI technologies for clean energy transitions and sustainable infrastructure.
