Sebastián Álvarez Shatters Three Wingsuit World Records in Single Jump, Achieving Unprecedented Feat

Chilean wingsuit pilot Sebastián "Ardilla" Álvarez has etched his name in aviation history by breaking three world records in a single wingsuit jump on March 22nd. Álvarez leaped from an altitude exceeding 12,670 meters, surpassing the cruising altitude of commercial airplanes, over West Tennessee.

Álvarez achieved a top speed of 550 kilometers per hour, exceeding the previous record of 390 km/h. He also covered a distance of 53.45 kilometers, surpassing the previous record of 32 kilometers. Furthermore, Álvarez stayed airborne for 11 minutes and 1 second, setting a new world record for flight time.

The record-breaking jump was the culmination of over seven years of preparation, including specialized physical training to withstand the high speeds and extreme conditions at high altitudes.
