Léandre Lozouet, a 20-year-old cyclist from Saint-Germain-sur-Ay, France, is set to fulfill a childhood dream by competing in the GP E3 on March 28, 2025. This event serves as a prelude to the Tour of Flanders, where Lozouet will race alongside cycling stars such as Tadej Pogacar, Mads Pedersen, and Mathieu van der Poel. Lozouet acknowledges the challenge, stating he will primarily focus on his role as a team member.
Despite a setback due to illness earlier in the season, which impacted his training and performance, Lozouet remains optimistic. His team, Arkéa-B&B Hôtels, has shown confidence in him by including him in the selections for both the Tour of Flanders on April 6 and Paris-Roubaix on April 13. These races mark the first Monuments of his career.
Prior to these major events, Lozouet is scheduled to participate in the Bruges-La Panne semi-classic, where he will support his team leader, Arnaud Démare. Lozouet aims to gain experience and contribute to the team's success in these upcoming races.
