The Italian Children's Ski Championships commenced in Ovindoli, Abruzzo, featuring super-G and giant slalom events. Serena Arrigoni triumphed in the under-16 girls' super-G, followed by Niccolò Castri's victory in the boys' event. In the under-14 giant slalom, Bianca Manenti secured the girls' title, while Pietro Desogus claimed the boys' title. In para swimming, Gaia Verardi emerged as the Italian champion in the 100m backstroke (S10 category) at the Italian Winter Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro. Verardi set a new record with a time of 1'29"85. She also secured two bronze medals in the 100m breaststroke and 200m individual medley.
