The FINP Winter Championships, held from March 13-16 in Lignano Sabbiadoro, witnessed remarkable achievements from young athletes representing the Abruzzo and Molise regions. Gaia Grazia Verardi of H2O Vasto emerged as a standout performer, securing a gold medal in the 100m backstroke for the Ragazzi (S10) category. Verardi's victory was particularly significant as she established a new Italian record with an impressive time of 1'29''85. This accomplishment highlights her dedication and skill in the sport. Other notable performances included Dario Criber of Apd Vita e Sport, who earned a silver medal in the 50m backstroke and another silver in the 50m freestyle.
