The Spanish Duathlon Middle Distance Championship 2025 will be held in Graus on March 1st, featuring nearly 400 athletes. The event will be broadcast live on TeleDeporte via RTVE Play. A promotional school event will also take place. Cristina García, Director General of Sports of the Government of Aragon, emphasized the region's commitment to promoting the territory through sports events. The championship will begin at 2:00 PM with the Elite Men's category, followed by Elite Women and Paralympic participants. Age Group and Open participants will start at 2:05 PM. The award ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 PM. The competition includes running, cycling, and running segments, starting and ending at the football field and athletic track. The running segments cover nine kilometers in three laps, extending from the sports facilities to the town center. The cycling segment spans 60 kilometers, circling the natural environment and the Joaquín Costa reservoir in four laps. Notable participants include Fernando Zorrilla, the 2024 champion, and Marina Muñoz, bronze medalist in the 2024 Duathlon Championship. A junior duathlon will also be held, engaging young athletes in the sport.
