Joey Jordison's VIMIC Album 'Open Your Omen' Set for September 2025 Release After Kickstarter Success

Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

The family of the late Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison is set to release 'Open Your Omen', the debut album from his band VIMIC, in September 2025. This follows a successful Kickstarter campaign launched to fund the project.

The Kickstarter, launched on April 28, 2025, aimed to honor Jordison's legacy and share his final musical vision. The campaign surpassed its funding goal, ensuring the album's release in various formats, including vinyl and CD. Rare merchandise and items from Jordison's personal collection will also be available.

In addition to the album, a VIMIC reunion show is planned in Los Angeles in September 2025 as a tribute to Jordison. The event will feature iconic drummers and special guests. The album represents a significant project for Jordison, created after his departure from Slipknot. It was delayed due to the passing of producer Kato Khandwala and Jordison's death in 2021.
