Trivium has released the original music video for their 2005 single, 'Dying In Your Arms.' The band also shared a reaction video, watching it together for the first time in two decades. The initial video, reminiscent of 'Phantom Of The Opera,' was shelved at the request of the band's manager.
The band members revisited the abandoned video, sharing laughs at their younger selves' expense. Vocalist Matt Heafy humorously introduced the clip, joking about the potential impact on their career. They critiqued their postures, period costumes, and hairstyles, with Heafy expressing surprise at his hair's appearance.
The unveiling of the original video is part of Trivium's 20th-anniversary celebration of their breakthrough album, 'Ascendancy,' released in March 2005. To further commemorate the anniversary, Trivium is currently co-headlining a world tour with Bullet For My Valentine, celebrating 20 years of Bullet For My Valentine's album 'The Poison'. During the tour, both bands perform their respective 2005 albums in full. The tour began in March 2025 and will continue through May 2025.
