Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco: When Love Becomes Music
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have released their deeply personal joint album, I Said I Love You First, under SMG Music, Friends Keep Secrets, and Interscope Records — a project where their romance and creativity merge into a tender sonic story.
Comprising 15 tracks, the album reads like a journal, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into their evolving relationship — from the spark of love to vulnerable inner dialogues. It emerged naturally, reflecting the depth of their real-life connection.
The music video for Younger and Hotter Than Me is a reflective nod to Selena’s early stardom, blending humor with emotional honesty.
Blanco shared that the song captures a suspended feeling after early fame fades. Gomez added that it reflects her experiences with social awkwardness and not quite fitting in.
Before the full album dropped, the duo teased fans with three emotionally charged singles:
• Scared of Loving You, co-written with Finneas
• Call Me When You Break Up, featuring Gracie Abrams
• Sunset Blvd, rich with vulnerability and nostalgia
Also included is Bluest Flame, a songwriting collaboration with Charli XCX.
🌀 I Said I Love You First is now available on all streaming platforms — a musical diary of two hearts finding their voice.
