Miriana Conte Reworks Eurovision Entry Amid Controversy; Full Eurovision 2025 Lineup Revealed

Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

Miriana Conte, Malta's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, has released a revised version of her song, now titled 'Serving'. This change follows concerns raised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) regarding the original title, 'Kant,' due to its phonetic similarity to a controversial English term. The reworked version maintains the original's essence, with the explicit term removed.

Meanwhile, the complete lineup for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, to be held in Basel, has been announced. Italy is prominently featured, with Lucio Corsi representing Italy with 'Volevo essere un duro,' and Gabry Ponte representing San Marino with 'Tutta l'Italia.' The Albanian entry, Shkodra Elektronike, also features Italian members. Other entries with Italian influences include Malta's Miriana Conte, who has Neapolitan roots, and Tommy Cash of Estonia, whose song includes Italian phrases. Michelle Hunziker will be among the presenters, and there are rumors of a guest appearance by Måneskin's Damiano David.
