Following Olly's decision, Lucio Corsi, who secured second place at Sanremo, is now expected to represent Italy at the international competition held in Basel. The Eurovision Song Contest 2025, featuring 37 nations, including the Big Five, will include two semi-finals on May 13 and 15, broadcast on Rai 2. The Grand Final, where the Italian artist will perform the song "Volevo essere un duro", will air on May 17 on Rai 1, Raiplay and Rai Radio2.
