Will Smith is poised to release a new album, "Based On A True Story," marking his return to hip-hop after a 20-year absence. The album, scheduled for release on March 28th, comprises 14 tracks and showcases a collaboration with DJ Jazzy Jeff. Smith's new project also features collaborations with Teyana Taylor and Jac Ross.
In January, Smith released a single titled "Beautiful Scars," featuring Big Sean and Obangain, as a teaser for the upcoming album. Before his focus shifted to film, Smith gained prominence in the late 1980s as one half of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. The duo achieved success with hits such as "Parents Just Don't Understand" and "Girls Ain't Nothing but Trouble."
