Tom Cruise, 62, and Ana de Armas, are reportedly dating. The news comes after the pair were seen together on multiple occasions. A source revealed to Us Weekly that their romance is in its early stages.
The insider stated that Cruise and de Armas met through mutual friends, including Penelope Cruz. Cruz, who previously dated Cruise, reportedly put in a good word for de Armas both personally and professionally. The source added that de Armas and Cruise initially met to discuss a work project.
"They've gone out on some dates and it's very low-key," the insider said. "It's in the early stages, and he's been courting her. ... She isn't looking for anything to move too fast, she's taking it really slow." Cruise recently praised de Armas' performance in "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina," calling it "kicks ass."
De Armas is also working on multiple projects with Cruise, Doug Liman, and Christopher McQuarrie. Cruise is set to star in Liman's untitled SpaceX movie, which he is co-writing with McQuarrie. While de Armas is not officially attached to the SpaceX project, her connection with Cruise seems to be growing beyond professional collaborations.
