Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Scolded Meghan Markle Over Treatment of Staff Before Wedding

A new book, "The New Royals" by Katie Nicholls, claims Meghan Markle had a tense exchange with a staff member during a menu tasting at Windsor Castle before her wedding to Prince Harry.

According to a source cited in the book, Meghan detected egg in a dish that was supposed to be vegan and macrobiotic, leading to her expressing her displeasure to the caterer. Queen Elizabeth allegedly intervened, telling Meghan, "In this family we don't speak to people like that."

This isn't the first time Meghan's behavior has been scrutinized. Royal expert Tom Quinn previously stated she had earned the nickname "Duchess of Difficult."

An unnamed palace staff member told Quinn that Meghan's difficulty stemmed from navigating the complexities of the royal system. The source described her behavior as inconsistent, alternating between being overly friendly and becoming irritated when staff didn't respond instantly.
