Blake Lively has responded to Justin Baldoni's recent accusations regarding her alleged attempts to influence Taylor Swift in their ongoing legal dispute. Baldoni's legal team had claimed Lively threatened to release private texts between herself and Swift.
Lively's lawyers filed an appeal on Wednesday, May 14th, dismissing Baldoni's claims as baseless. They criticized a letter from Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, accusing Lively of witness tampering and evidence spoliation.
"That letter, which was not filed with any evidentiary support of any kind, much less anything under oath, falsely accuses Ms. Lively..." her lawyers stated, according to People Magazine. They further asserted that the allegations were anonymously sourced and lacked any supporting evidence.
Lively's legal team accused Baldoni's lawyers of attempting to disseminate scandalous and defamatory allegations through the court docket. They argued that the intent was to launder these allegations into the press.
