Walton Goggins, star of The White Lotus season three, became visibly irritated when questioned about alleged tensions with co-star Aimee Lou Wood. The actor refused to address rumors of a feud during a recent interview with The Times.
Speculation arose after Goggins didn't tag Wood in a social media post reflecting on their characters' tragic fate, unlike other cast members. This sparked whispers of a possible rift between the two actors.
The situation intensified when Goggins publicly praised a Saturday Night Live skit satirizing Wood's character. Goggins called the skit "amazzzingggg" and shared it on Instagram, later deleting the posts after Wood deemed it "cruel and unfunny."
Wood reportedly received an apology from SNL staff and flowers from comedian Sarah Sherman. Fellow SNL cast member Bowen Yang defended Wood's reaction as "completely valid."
When pressed about the situation, Goggins curtly stated, "I'm not having that conversation." His publicist intervened, and Goggins grew increasingly frustrated, ultimately exclaiming, "What the f***! Come on, man. Wow."
Goggins is set to host Saturday Night Live on May 10th. Fans are speculating whether Wood might make a surprise appearance to dispel the rumors of discord.
