Spanish actress Ester Expósito, known for her role in the Netflix series *Élite*, has publicly announced that she is "happily single" following her split from Uruguayan actor Nicolás Furtado over a year ago. In a recent podcast interview, Expósito addressed rumors surrounding her love life, stating she needed time to focus on herself.
Expósito and Furtado began dating in 2021 after meeting at a party in Spain. Despite a 12-year age gap, their relationship quickly blossomed, with the couple sharing moments in both Spain and Uruguay. However, signs of trouble emerged in late 2022, leading to a confirmed breakup in December.
While enjoying her single status, Expósito is also focused on her career. She recently announced her participation in *Marfil y Ébano*, an adaptation of the *Enfrentados* saga by Mercedes Ron, which will be released on Prime Video. She will star alongside actor Hugo Diega in the project.
