Chef Anna Haugh embarks on a culinary journey through Ireland in the 15-part series, Anna Haugh's Big Irish Food Tour.
The series, produced by Belfast's Below The Radar TV, showcases unique aspects of Irish cuisine and culture. Haugh is joined by celebrity guests, exploring local ingredients and flavors across locations from Co Antrim to Cork city.
Guests share Irish food memories and assist Haugh in preparing special meals. The series is available on BBC iPlayer and airs weekly on BBC Two starting May 5.
The tour includes visits to various locations. In Co Tyrone, Dennis Taylor joins Anna for outdoor cooking featuring Lough Neagh eel. In Co Antrim, Diarmuid Gavin assists with potato planting, inspiring a goat hotpot.
Other guests include Angela Scanlon in Co Mayo and Ian McElhinney in Portrush, where he recalls enjoying dulse. Shayne Ward explores his Irish Traveller heritage in Co Louth, meeting a tinsmith and picking cabbage.
