In November 2026 Netflix Netflix and cinemas will offer viewers a packed calendar of premieres: the return of popular series, sharp dramas and long-awaited blockbusters. Among the main events are the second season of the spy thriller “Black Doves” with Keira Knightley and the finale of “The Empress”.
Particular attention is drawn to the limited series “The Altruists” (19 November), in which Julia Garner and Anthony Boyle will play Caroline Ellison and Sam Bankman-Fried. This is the story of the rise and collapse of the crypto exchange FTX, shown through the prism of personal ambition and deception.
A portrait film: “The Altruists” is a tense biographical drama in the register of a slow-burn psychological thriller. The action unfolds in the world of high finance and luxurious Silicon Valley offices, where the glitter of startups conceals dark schemes. The central tension is the characters’ struggle for power and survival in a system built on lies. To watch the film is to feel growing anxiety and disillusionment with idols. A specific detail: the scene behind closed doors, where the characters discuss the “perfect” deal, underscoring the fragility of their empire.
This story matters today because it reminds us of the real consequences of financial scandals that still affect trust in the crypto market.
On Netflix, viewers can also look forward to “Heartbeat” (13 November) with Jessica Chastain as a former country star searching for her missing niece in a dangerous Nashville, and the romantic comedy “Star Protection” (18 November) with Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki.
In cinemas, “Sunrise on the Reaping” from the “Hunger Games” franchise stands out (20 November) — a prequel to the 50th Hunger Games with McKenna Grace and Elle Fanning. Plus “Godzilla Minus One” (6 November) by Takashi Yamazaki and Martin McDonagh’s black comedy “Nine Wild Horses” with John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell.
The month promises variety: from family animations like “The Cat in the Hat” to high-stakes thrillers. Viewers should keep an eye on schedule updates, as dates may be adjusted closer to the premieres.
