Anurag Basu's "Metro... In Dino," a spiritual successor to his 2007 film "Life in a... Metro," is slated to hit theaters on July 4, 2025. The anthology film explores contemporary love stories set in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore.
The film features an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, and Pankaj Tripathi. Pritam composes the soundtrack, reuniting with Basu after their previous collaboration.
Filming took place from December 2022 to February 2024 across multiple Indian cities. The film's release was delayed, with the final date set for July 4, 2025. The promotional campaign includes the release of several singles and a trailer launched in June 2025.
