Honestly, we never thought we'd be watching a Turkish series, let alone give it a high rating with pleasure (Gaya rating — 7.2/10). Turkish cinema is usually associated with endless soap operas and heavy dramas. But "Thank You, Next" (original Turkish title Kimler Geldi, Kimler Geçti) from Netflix is that rare case when it's worth discarding stereotypes, because the project turned out to be surprisingly stylish and definitely worth watching!
The third season of "Thank You, Next" officially premiered on the Netflix platform on May 8, 2026, and consists of 8 episodes. The premiere has already taken place, and all episodes of the third season are available for viewing in the Netflix library.
In spirit, tempo, and plot, it resembles "Working Moms" and "Bold Type". It's a very high-quality, modern, and in its own way cozy "girly series". It has everything we love such projects for: strong female friendship, career ambitions, attempts not to go crazy in the modern world, endless swiping on dating apps, awkward dates, and the search for that special someone. The main character is a successful female lawyer who, after a painful breakup and with the support of her best friends, dives headfirst into the complicated world of modern relationships.
The visuals deserve special admiration! The series features incredibly beautiful scenery, stylish settings, and simply chic surroundings. Istanbul is shown in all its glory: a vibrant, fashionable metropolis with aesthetic interiors, cozy restaurants, stylish character outfits, and stunning sunsets over the Bosphorus. The imagery is literally "delicious".
And, of course, the actors. Serenay Sarıkaya in the lead role simply shines — she is lively, charismatic, and plays very naturally. Metin Akdülger and the rest of the cast interact perfectly with her; there is that spark and chemistry between them. None of the overacting typical of old soap operas — everything looks very organic, light, and European.
Gaya rating — 7.2/10. A high rating for the visuals. The pacing could be increased, but the acting saves the situation. The series is quite watchable.
In general, if you're looking for something light for an evening to relax, laugh at the characters' mistakes, and be inspired by beautiful visuals, go ahead and turn it on. The project turned out to be quite watchable, dynamic, and very atmospheric. An excellent example of how Netflix can make great rom-coms!
