Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has confirmed he's working on a sequel to his acclaimed 2010 film, 'The Social Network'. In an interview, Sorkin stated, 'I'm writing about it. I'm blaming Facebook for January 6th.'

The sequel will delve into Facebook's role in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Sorkin has criticized the platform for its algorithm, which he believes promotes divisive content to increase user engagement.

Jesse Eisenberg, who played Mark Zuckerberg in the original, has also expressed interest in the project. While no release date is set, both Sorkin and Eisenberg's involvement suggests a significant exploration of Facebook's impact on society and democracy.
