The documentary 'Wisdom of Happiness,' featuring the Dalai Lama, will be presented at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, which will take place from May 13 to 24. Directed by Barbara Miller and Philip Delaquis, the 90-minute film explores the Dalai Lama's perspectives on inner peace and practical wisdom. Richard Gere served as executive producer. The film includes archival footage of the Dalai Lama's early life. 'Wisdom of Happiness' premiered at the Zurich Film Festival in October 2024 and has been selected for other film festivals, including the Dharamsala International Film Festival in India and the DocPoint Documentary Film Festival in Helsinki, Finland. The film will be screened at the Palais of Cannes Film Festival.
