Edited by: Ек Soshnikova

Diriyah Art Futures, a museum in Saudi Arabia dedicated to digital art and emerging technologies, has been recognized as one of the world's most beautiful museums in 2025 by the Prix Versailles.

Designed by Schiattarella Associati, the museum is located near Riyadh and spans 12,000 square meters. It features sculptural pavilions housing galleries, research labs, artist residences, an auditorium, and a training center.

The architecture draws inspiration from traditional Najdi heritage, integrating local materials like Riyadh stone and mud plaster. The design incorporates narrow passages to create shaded and cool zones, reflecting traditional Najd architecture.

Diriyah Art Futures is a part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aiming to transform the country's cultural landscape. The museum serves as a platform for collaboration among artists, scholars, and technologists.

The Prix Versailles, supported by UNESCO, acknowledges architecture with a cultural, ecological, and social impact. The award highlights the museum's significance in the global architectural and cultural landscape.
