A 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck near Datca, Turkey. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) reported the event. The quake occurred at 8:36 AM local time. The epicenter was located in the Aegean Sea, near the Datca region. Tremors were also felt in Greece. The Greek national television ERT cited the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens. The earthquake's epicenter was in the sea, 385 kilometers southeast of Athens. It was also 24 kilometers northwest of the island of Kasos, with a depth of 16.5 kilometers.
