Mystery of the Baltic Sea Anomaly: New Investigations Planned

In a captivating turn of events, Dennis Åsberg is raising funds to dive into the Gulf of Bothnia, Sweden, to unravel the mysteries of the Baltic Sea Anomaly, a strange underwater structure discovered 14 years ago. This formation, resembling the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, was first detected by Åsberg's Ocean X Team in 2011 using sonar while searching for shipwrecks.

Located 90 meters deep off the Swedish coast, the 60-meter-wide anomaly has sparked numerous theories, ranging from it being an alien spacecraft to a glacial deposit. Despite skepticism from some scientists, Åsberg believes it may be an ancient artificial structure, possibly a monument from the Stone Age.

Recent explorations in 2022 near the anomaly revealed a nearby monolith with intriguing markings, prompting Åsberg to seek further investigation. He highlights the need for more scientific attention, stating, “The Baltic Sea Anomaly remains one of the most enigmatic underwater discoveries, with significant potential to reveal geological or historical mysteries.”

Åsberg is now appealing for donations to fund a return expedition, hoping to shed light on this enduring oceanic enigma.
