The Gorai Mangrove Park in Mumbai is set to open in August. It is the city's first dedicated mangrove conservation park. Situated in Gorai village, the park covers eight hectares, offering an immersive experience into the vital mangrove ecosystem.
The park features a 750-meter-long elevated wooden boardwalk, leading to a scenic viewing deck. A two-story Nature Interpretation Centre provides educational displays and a rooftop restaurant.
An 18-meter-tall watchtower offers expansive views of the diverse avian species. The park's design emphasizes sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and solar power.
