Andorra Recerca + Innovació (AR+I) is organizing a traveling exhibition called 'The Flora of the Pyrenees' to commemorate the International Day of Biodiversity on May 22, 2025. The exhibition, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and the Comú of Andorra la Vella, will be displayed along Prat de la Creu street and in front of the Government's administrative building, as well as in some schools in the country.
Sílvia Ferrer, Director of the Department of Environment and Sustainability, emphasizes the importance of dissemination and awareness of the natural environment. This allows to enhance the appreciation and preservation of natural heritage.
The exhibition consists of about thirty panels with photographs of different floristic species characteristic of the mountains of the Principality and the Pyrenees. The informative canvases can already be seen in the first of the spaces through which the exhibition will travel.
