Cuba's Flora y Fauna Sancti Spíritus Celebrates 32nd Year as National Vanguard in Conservation

Empresa Flora y Fauna Sancti Spíritus in Cuba has been honored as a National Vanguard for the 32nd consecutive year, marking a significant achievement in sustained conservation efforts.

The recognition celebrates the company's dedication to preserving flora and fauna, promoting nature tourism, and contributing to food production. The award ceremony was attended by Commander of the Revolution Guillermo García Frías, who commended the organization's commitment to environmental preservation and production advancements.

The Lomas de Banao Ecological Reserve, managed by the company, was also recognized for its productivity and resource management. The company, located in Yaguajay, has received prestigious labor awards, including the Lázaro Peña Order of II Degree and the Labor Achievement Flag, with its director general being a Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba.
