Miquelon Students Study Local Marine Flora in New Educational Program

Edited by: Anulyazolotko Anulyazolotko

Students in Miquelon are participating in a new program to establish the archipelago's first marine educational area. Post-doctoral researchers Axel Hacala and Pascaline Caudal visited students to launch the initiative.

Supported by the French Biodiversity Office, the program allows students to study a designated area of their territory. This hands-on approach aims to increase awareness of the fragility of local ecosystems.

As part of the program, students will conduct scientific measurements, identify local flora and fauna, and analyze collected data. The initiative seeks to inspire future scientists and promote a deeper understanding of their environment.
