On March 4, 2025, students from École-Victorien Girot in Friville-Escarbotin, France, embarked on an educational expedition to Somme Bay. The trip, part of a Marine Educational Area project, aimed to immerse the children in the bay's rich biodiversity. Students observed the local flora and fauna, including various shellfish and the puccinellia grass favored by swans. The excursion provided hands-on learning about the bay's ecosystem and the importance of environmental stewardship.
