Companies lose millions every day because key metrics remain unattended between weekly reports. While managers wait for the next meeting, sales fall, campaigns stall, and the explanations are scattered across different systems.
The startup Augmeta from Redmond solved this problem radically: every important KPI gets its own AI agent—an "operator." It doesn't just track the numbers; it investigates deviations, estimates losses in dollars, and proposes or even executes fixes.
The founders—brothers Salman and Arslan Jamali plus Nitin Bhaskaran—came from Amazon, Opendoor, and Home Depot. They know how large retailers work from the inside, and they understand the cost of "friction" in sales funnels.
In September 2026, Augmeta raised $3 million in seed investment. The round was led by Depth Ventures with participation from Index Ventures, Sequoia, and angel investors. The money will go toward accelerating deployment with enterprise clients and expanding the agents' capabilities.
The anchor client is the Tractor Supply chain. The agents already track more than 100 metrics in e-commerce and prepare reports that are actually used in decision-making. After the first year, the contract was extended.
CEO Salman Jamali gives a simple example: a change of email system suddenly halts a campaign to win back lapsed customers. Sales fall, and the cause is "smeared" across seven platforms. No one sees the whole picture—until an agent appears that gathers everything and names the exact amount of lost revenue.
The agents work like real "operators": they don't stop until the problem is solved. They estimate the financial impact, bring in the right people, and verify the result. The degree of autonomy depends on the client's permissions.
The monetization model is annual enterprise contracts. In the future, the company wants to move to payment as a percentage of the amount saved or earned. This changes the usual logic: instead of a subscription for "seats," it's payment for real financial results.
Competitors—Amplitude, Adobe, and other analytics platforms—are also adding AI. But Augmeta bets on end-to-end ownership of a metric from start to finish, rather than one-off "triage agents."
Investors note: enterprises lose millions every day because of unnoticed changes in funnels. Augmeta turns passive monitoring into active management of money in real time.
For business, this is not just another technology. It is a way to reallocate attention and capital from manual data collection to actions that directly affect profit.
