Riley Green has achieved a significant milestone in his career, securing the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with his single, "Worst Way." This marks his first solo chart-topper, solidifying his position as a leading artist in the country music scene.
Previously, Green had two No. 1 hits as a featured artist, contributing to Ella Langley's "You Look Like You Love Me" in 2024 and Thomas Rhett's "Half of Me" in 2022. "Worst Way" originally appeared on his EP, Way Out Here, and later on his third studio album, Don't Mind If I Do.
Green shared that he aimed to blend traditional country instrumentation with a modern edge. He drew inspiration from songs like John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" and Eric Church's "Like a Wrecking Ball."
In celebration of his success, Green announced the return of Duckman Jam for a second year. The event is scheduled for November 22 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Duckman Jam concert will feature performances by Jamey Johnson, Drake White, and Lauren Watkins, in addition to Green. The event will benefit Ducks Unlimited, a nonprofit dedicated to conservation efforts.
Presale tickets will be available starting June 17, with the public on-sale beginning June 20. Fans can look forward to a night of music and support a worthy cause.
