Edited by: Olga Sukhina

Netflix, under the leadership of Chief Technology Officer Elizabeth Stone, is significantly expanding its live event offerings.

This strategic shift includes a historic 10-year partnership with WWE, valued at over $5 billion, which began with the streaming of "Monday Night Raw" in January 2025.

The platform is also venturing into live sports, securing rights to stream two NFL games on Christmas Day in 2024, with plans to continue in 2025 and 2026.

Reports from July 2025 suggest Netflix is in talks with Spotify for live TV content collaborations, including music award shows and concert series.

Upcoming major live events include the 2025 SummerSlam, a two-night WWE event at MetLife Stadium on August 2–3, 2025, and the 2025 Survivor Series at Petco Park on November 29, 2025.

These events will be available to livestream on Netflix in most international markets, marking significant milestones for the platform.

Stone's leadership has been crucial in driving these technological advancements and expanding Netflix's live event portfolio.

Through strategic partnerships and innovative content delivery, Netflix aims to enhance its subscriber experience and boost its advertising revenue.
