Multi-Grammy Award-winning pop icon Enrique Iglesias is set to make a highly anticipated return to India with a Mumbai concert. The show, produced and promoted by EVA Live in partnership with BEW Live, marks his first Indian performance in 13 years, following his sold-out three-city tour in 2012.
The concert is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees. Iglesias will deliver a career-spanning setlist encompassing both iconic standards and contemporary chart-toppers from his three-decade-plus career.
Deepak Chaudhary, founder and managing director of EVA Live, stated that bringing Iglesias back to India is a historic moment. He highlighted the palpable anticipation among fans and the commitment to delivering world-class entertainment. The Mumbai show precedes Iglesias' next engagement in Abu Dhabi.
Iglesias has sold over 180 million albums and amassed over 40 billion streams. He holds the record for 154 No. 1 singles across Billboard charts. This includes 27 No. 1 singles on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs Chart, surpassing Michael Jackson.
The concert is scheduled for Oct. 30 at Mumbai's MMRDA Grounds. India has seen a resurgence of major international concerts. Recent performances include Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, and Dua Lipa, with Travis Scott also scheduled.
