Drake and PartyNextDoor's "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U" Debuts at Number One, Tying Drake with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift on Billboard 200

Drake and PartyNextDoor's collaborative album, "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U," has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, marking Drake's 14th Number One album. This achievement ties him with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift for the most Number One albums among soloists, with only The Beatles surpassing them with 19.

The album achieved 287.04 million first-week streams and 25,000 album sales. "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U" replaces Kendrick Lamar's "GNX" at the top, which falls to No. 3 after its resurgence following Lamar's Super Bowl performance. Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" rises to No. 2 with 156,000 equivalent album units earned, boosted by its deluxe reissue.

The album marks the largest streaming week for any album in 2025, although it is still behind Lamar's "GNX" which debuted with 379.72 million streams in December 2024. "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U" is Drake's first album since his feud with Lamar escalated. The album is also the first collaborative No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2025.
