Drake has surpassed The Beatles for the most cumulative weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, marking a significant milestone in his career. As of April 9, 2025, Drake's albums have collectively spent over 3,346 weeks on the Billboard 200, breaking the record previously held by the legendary British band. Drake also secured his 14th No. 1 album as a soloist with his recent collaborative album with PartyNextDoor, '$ome $exy $ongs 4 U,' released on February 14, 2025. This achievement ties him with Jay Z and Taylor Swift for the second-most chart-topping albums. He is now five No. 1 albums behind The Beatles' record of 19. Furthermore, Drake was named the highest-selling rapper of 2024 by IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry), and the second best-selling artist overall, behind Taylor Swift. This marks his tenth year in the top 10 of IFPI's global artist ranking and his tenth time as the highest-selling rapper globally, ahead of Eminem (No. 8) and Kendrick Lamar (No. 9).
