Hex Trust Secures Singapore MPI License, Integrating Crypto Custody with Trading

On March 1, Hex Trust, a cryptocurrency custodian and trading platform, announced it secured a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This license allows Hex Trust to provide cross-border money transfers and digital payment token services under Singapore's regulatory framework. Following in-principle approval in July 2024, the full license enables the firm to integrate regulated digital asset custody with trading and settlement services, including fiat on- and off-ramps. Hex Trust has operated in Singapore since 2020 and holds regulatory approvals in Hong Kong, Dubai, France, and Italy.
